Amey receives the HR Excellence Award from The Worshipful Company of HR Professionals, in recognition of its outstanding commitment to people, skills development and social impact.
Held at Vintners’ Hall in London, the fundraising and awards evening brought together leaders from across the HR profession to celebrate excellence in human resources practice, with a particular focus on leadership, workforce development and long‑term impact.
On the night, the HR Excellence Award was presented to Amey by Peter Cheese, Master of The Worshipful Company of HR Professionals and Chief Executive Officer of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), alongside Caroline Sheridan, Chief Executive Officer of award sponsor Sheridan Worldwide.
Commenting on the award, Michael Burgess, Chief People Officer at Amey, said: “We are extremely proud to receive this award. Being recognised by the Worshipful Company of HR Professionals is a testament to the people first culture we have worked hard to build at Amey; one where every voice matters, every individual is supported to grow, and where purpose genuinely drives performance.
“This recognition belongs to our colleagues across the business, whose commitment and professionalism bring our values to life every day.”
Amey continues to put people at the heart of its strategy, building an engaged and empowered workforce as part of its journey as an Investors in People Platinum accredited organisation.
