Project overview
The Simberi Gold processing plant was upgraded from 700tph to 1,500tph. The upgrade required the installation of new a power stations, crushing, grinding, and flotation circuits.
We provided various services, including:
- Detailed design of all aspect of the new processing plant
- Detailed design of power station (8 x 1.5MW Wartsilla HFO Generators)
- On-site construction supervision
- Plant commissioning
Key Outcomes:
- Island power supply converted from diesel to heavy fuel oil (HFO)
- Successful integration of multiple design teams
