Amey continues Australian growth journey with acquisition of North East Survey Design

Amey has acquired North East Survey Design (NESD), a respected multidisciplinary consultancy based in Victoria, strengthening its presence in Australia and expanding its engineering capabilities across the state.

NESD provides civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, project management and development consulting services across North East Victoria. Operating from Wangaratta and Echuca, its 20-strong team helps clients drive sustainable, community-focused infrastructure and development projects.

The acquisition brings together Amey’s global infrastructure experience in full life-cycle engineering with NESD’s deep local knowledge and regional expertise. It will broaden the services available to its combined client portfolio and provide NESD with the resources and technical capability to pursue larger and more complex opportunities across Victoria, wider Australia and other target geographies.

This marks another important milestone in Amey international expansion and growth journey, following its re-entry into the Australian market through the acquisition of Premise in 2025.
